N is for Nesting Box
We don't have a garden anymore but I took these photos and the very short video during the Spring before we moved to our new home, three years ago. It was the only year that we saw it used. The new owners of the house had the tree cut down!

what a sacrilege - destroying the tree of this nesting box!
A lovely set of photos. I hope the criminals who cut down the tree were suitably dealt with!
How sad that the sweet bird has lost his/her home. Glad you got a picture for memories.
Thats really sad that the new people cut down the tree.
Glad you had the pleasure of seeing the bird house used before you moved and that you have got the lovely photos to look at.
Perhaps you could bird watch in a park?

Its always a joy to have birds come into the garden, and this one, briefly, had a home. What a shame they did not keep the bird box.

Hope you can come by and see my NooK, thanks!
It looks like the little birds really liked the nesting box. What a shame the new folk cut down that beautiful tree.
What a shame the tree was cut down. Poor blue tits:-)
I have only put out a nesting box once and it was used. But we have a huge fir tree with dense foliage that must be packed with nests judging by the number of birds we get at or feeder.
Why do new owners do this, - cut down trees that you have loved and cherished!!!! We lost a whole wonderful garden that way a few years ago, - it makes me so sad to drive past the property now.
Lovely video and pictures Anne. Glad you got to see the nesting box used before you left. What a shame that the new owners cut the tree down.
