Sunday 22nd March is Mothering Sunday in the UK - Mother's Day.
Our daughter, who lives in Stratford on Avon, has invited me, OH, my mum and OH's aunt to lunch and with our 4 year old grand-daughter, there will be six of us. OH will be a bit out-numbered - 5 to 1 - but as it is Mother's Day he is happy to drive us there and back and help with lunch. To help out we are taking desserts!
So, with extra special wishes to my mum and of course to my daughter - Happy Mother's Day to all mums everywhere. I do hope you have a lovely day.
"Thou art thy mother's glass, and she in thee
Calls back the lovely April of her prime".

Happy Mothers Day Anne - hoep you have a lovely day - still don't know what the boys have got planned for me. When you have a mo, I've got a special award over at my blog for you to pick up. Please feel free to give it a polish and share it if you wish. :-D
Hope you all had a lovely lunch, the weather has been quite kind too.
We decided to go out last Sunday to a Tapas restaurant, my daughter's treat. It's a nice tradition just wish my Mam was still around.
Happy Mothers Day! I bet you had a lovely time with your family.
Our elder son came over and cooked lunch for us today. Spinach and ricotta lasagne, with Panna Cotta for dessert. Mmmm! Looovely!
Hope you had a very happy day!
Hi Anne
I had a lovely day too in spite of the fact my mother died when I was 2 and all my children live too far away to pop to for a sunday dinner... but my hubby cooked a lovely dinner and I had a very nice glass of wine and here I am feeding my soul reading blogs!
Chris
