I have several in various colours and size and that is simply because I have been caught out a few times in the pouring rain and had to buy another (whilst knowing I had others at home keeping dry). These are just two under which I manage to keep reasonably dry!
The smaller, red one, is an ideal size for popping into a fairly small handbag.

Love your umbrellas, Anne, - seeing as how the one with the cats is spoken for - a number of times, I will be content with any colourful one to brighten up a rainy day.
I am so amazed at the variety of umbrellas. We have 4 and none of them even come close to yours. They are as unique as the people that carry them.

I love the kitty one! I don't think I have ever bought an umbrella, although I have found plenty on my coach (at one time I found a whole box of them: thirty in total!).
I'm getting very frightened. I truly am afraid of these things. 90% of the U posts I've read so far are umbrellas. Eek!
These are nice umbrellas, too beautiful for me, because I always forget them somewhere ! I don't know how many I lost already !
