Watery Wednesday

Last week I spent a few days with my daughter in Stratford on Avon. Out for a walk one day we were lucky enough to see this swan and her cygnets. There were about 5 or 6, all swimming close to their parent but by the time I had my camera ready they had swum off in different directions!

Stratford on Avon .... a lovely place.
Isn't it always the way, you get a perfect scene and by the time the camera is opened and the correct setting opened, the scene is no more! Story of my life!
However, you have captured some lovely pictures that are very pleasing.

Swans always seem so graceful as they glide around the water. I especially enjoy the photo of the young one, its so cute...

Oh so cute! When we were picnicing
on the lawn, a student rode a bike full tilt into the river, obviously for a bet. Came out drippiing and collected his five pounds - now you know how long ago that was..LOL - and it was a cold day too!
