Wow, you are so right Timmy is very much like our Max. Max was a rescue dog, picked up roaming the streets of Carlisle and we choose him from the rescue centre. We have always thought he must be a terrier cross lurcher or something similar.
Timmy had similar colouring to Max too Fern and he was a cross Airedale/Retriever. A lovely boy, who sadly kept running off and one day was hit by a car.
He looks such a lovely little dog. We had a mix lab who had a sad end just like Timmy. It was a horrible day but thankfully we had several dogs after who eased the pain. I miss having a dog, our last one Bridgette left us about five years ago. She was my heart. Maybe one day we will get another but for now I will babysit my friends' dogs at the drop of a hat :)))
Yes Denise it is awful to lose a pet, after all an important part of the family. We have been without cats now for about 4 years. I did vow after we lost the last, Smokey, 'never again'. But who knows, maybe one day. A x
