Camera Critters

This is Susie.

She was a much loved pet who loved us in return. She also seemed to love cars and we believe she must have got into one, or a delivery van and then found herself at our house. We adopted each other and never regretted it. However her apparent love of cars led to her being run over a couple of times and the first time she had to have her tail docked as it was too damaged to be any good to her. She also survived the second "accident" and lived on for a few more years, finally succumbing to a malignant growth. We never knew her real age but guessed she was about 12 years old when she died. An affectionate and "fun" cat.

"Before" and "after" shots!

And wasn't she lucky popping into your life Anne? You took wonderful care of her and gave her so much love. She looks a very happy little cat in her photos. Adorable shots.

Lovely cat! Have you had many? We've had quite a few, since getting married in 1976. They all had their own funny little ways and different personalities. We have 3 at the moment.

Susie didn't seem to be much bothered by the loss of her tail!

My thanks to you all for your lovely comments.

I love cats and have had 8 in my life, though none now. The most we had at one time was 3. I may do a post about them, possibly a post per cat. There are definitely some tales to tell!

A x

It sounds as if Susie lived life to the full using up all her lives.

Oh she was lovely. She looks a character on the fence there. You must miss her.

All of mine have been cats nobody else wanted. They just arrive and you can't help loving them. Just wish we could keep them longer.

I dread my last two oldies leaving me. My husband says no more because they would outlive us and he's prboably right, But I don't know how I'll manage without them. I'll miss them so much.

Can I mail you my pesky cats? Only kidding, I love my 2 cats and they are both so different from each other in personality.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about your beloved felines.

How amazing! I love the bobbed off tail even if being run over isn't good way to use your 9 lives. She is very pretty!
