Watery Wednesday

Feeding time for the water birds at Cleland Wildlife Park.

I took this photograph in February 2008, when I was visiting my family in Adelaide, South Australia. My grandson is watching from the sidelines!

I thought for a moment you had pelicans at the bottom of the garden!

Near to where I live (Florida Gulf coast), we have predominantly brown pelicans. The white ones come here to over-winter for a while, and usually are only seen in the wildlife sanctuary. However the brown ones roam freely everywhere and it's fun to watch them dive for their supper.

I hope this isn't a duplicate but I don't know if the other comment posted. I've only seen the brown pelicans here at the beach and zoo. I would love to see these.

That pelicans face is a picture!
Loved the computer quotes too. The Bill Gates one made me laugh out loud and the disk one is something I would do!
