Skywatch Friday

Saying goodnight to the Moon (or should it be good morning)!

I always think, whenever I see the sun or the moon setting that it is on it's way to my family in Australia. Quite a comforting thought.

After supper last night, we took a walk. And the moon was just a tiny sliver. But "It Would Hold Water" as my husband said.

Sadly, I had not brought my camera...

Boo hissssssssssssss... ,-)

I also think in the same way because we are looking at the same moon. Comforting, indeed. :)

There is something fascinating about the moon.
Great idea realising that it is on its way to Australia.

On full-moon nights, my sister-in-law used to call her grandson who lived across the country to tell him to look out -- that they would both be able to see the same moon even though they lived so far apart. He grew up calling her "grandma moon." A comforting thought, as you say!
