ABC Wednesday - G

Grapevines

Growing in the McLaren Vale in South Australia. I took these pictures last November.

We called at a few cellar doors and always enjoy a glass of the finished product.

ABC Wednesday is hosted by Mrs Denise Nesbitt and her team. For more letter G subjects - click here.

Australian wines are really good - and affordable.

Very pleased to hear you like our local products and visiting wineries.SJA I'm betting you went to Wirra Wirra or Leconfield?
Your top photo looks very much like the block alongside the old railway line, now a walking trail.
Your second photo shows the hill I live on! The joys of travel and the net!!!

I've never done a vineyard but would love to tour Napa Valley in California. Thanks for the pictures - might just inspire me! X

Vineyards always look such peaceful places, and yet there must be so much work to do with the vines to keep them healthy and productive.

Lovely pictures - especially the second one!

I love it when the vineyards are green and lush like that. Our valley is a large producer of wine, there are vineyards on almost every corner it seems. They are fun to tour.
